I have seen people I know did job hopping from midsenior to senior, which saved them around 2 years of experience in the same company.
The only concern here for some people (including myself) is that they already feel comfortable in the current team or company, so they don't want to change the company. But at the same time they want to promote faster. I think it's a dilemma that can depend heavily on every individual's situations.
Thanks Ryan for a great advice that many don't know of it!

Certainly. I have stayed at Meta for the last 6 years and it's treated me better than job hopping could have.
Can be a good option though for people who aren't getting recognized that are already performing at the next level or if their team situation could use improvement.

Exactly yeah. I changed job because of a recognition problem before and the new job accelerated growth significantly.
