A common observation between this and the previous interview youβve done is the honest openness of the engineers about the role of luck and timing necessary for big career leaps. Most people shy away from attributing parts of their successes to luck because of the cultural importance given to hard work and talent. But for many people who are early in their careers or even student lives, for that matter, the importance of luck can place a lot of things about the way life works, into perspective.
Agreed, luck plays a huge role. Would be cool to have a guest on the pod that eventually succeeded but got unlucky many times to see what that kind of path looks like and what they learned from adversity
So far have only had people on who have strung together many fortunate circumstances
