Thanks for this read. Find myself stuck in a position where I would like to engage in more responsibility at this level. However my manager holds on too tight. Difficult for him to depart with control.

This reminds me of when I first joined our team‘s oncall rotation.
It sucked, I got paged after hrs – but I massively leveled up while doing it.
Sometimes the impactful work is the boring work.
Going after impact and value, not just fun / flashiness of the work will take you far in your career 🚀
